Guidelines

> Team can consist of minimum two and maximum of three members.

> Contestants are required to bring a valid ID card with you.

> Event consists of 2 rounds.

Round 1 : Written prelims to test your general electrical engineering knowledge, reasoning and logical skill in 45 minutes.

Round 2 : Assemble the given circuit as fast as possible with available hints and components. The team can ask for another circuit , if they have completed the first one before the scheduled.

> Final round evaluation is based on efficiency, speed and neatness of the circuit.

> The final ranking will be based on cumulative performance in 2 rounds of event.

> Decisions made by the judging panel will be final.

Round 2 : Desoldering Round using solder wick.

Round 3 : Soldering Round.

> Participants will be selected to the next levels based on their performance in each round.

> Neatness and accuracy of the Soldering done is not only the prime winning factor, the accuracy of the output obtained also matters.

> Defect in any component should be reported during the first 15 mins of cool break of each round.

> All the components needed will be provided.

> Use of any other tool or method other than what is provided and asked is unfair and leads to disqualification.

> Decisions made by the judging panel is final.

> Each team must have 3 members.

> Cross college teams are allowed.

> Participants need to produce valid ID cards of their respective institutes.

> If any component is found to be defective, it should be reported during the first 15 minutes of the final round.

Round 1 : This round will be a written test based on arithmetic & logical reasoning and the basics of electronics.

Round 2 : Participants will have to solve the clues to reach locations where certain electronic components are hidden.
Components collected by the participants should be used for completing the task in the next level.

Round 3 : A function generator and CRO will be provided for each team inorder to reproduce a function or a said shape in the CRO using the collected components.

> Decisions made by the coordinators will be final.

> A minimum of 2 participants and a maximum of 4 participants for a team of which one vocalist and an acoustic instrument is mandatory.

> Acoustic instruments like guitar, violin etc can be used. Only clean tones are allowed.Synthesized tones are not allowed.

> Acoustic Percussion instruments like cajon, tabla, darbuka etc can be used. Drums and rhythm pads are not allowed.

> A team is given 10 minutes for performance.

> No restriction for the number of teams that can participate from a college.

> Own composition is welcomed.

> Overall performance of the team is the main judging criteria.

> There are two rounds for the event. The first round is a prelims round and the shortlisted participants from the prelims will be selected for the finals.

Round 2 : Consists of two rounds- Melody and Fast number (with karaoke).

> Each song should not exceed 5 minutes.

> No backing tracks, guide tracks, pre-recorded music or computed beats can be used.

> Participants are liable to compensate any damage to the stage or equipment.

> Microphones and a standard 5-piece Drum Kit will be provided on stage along with necessary plug points.

> The final ranking will be based on cumulative performance in 2 rounds of event.

> Teams can perform songs of any language and genre.

> Decision of the judges will be final and binding.
